New Life Birth Center Bereavement

The careworkers at Avista New Life Bereavement Center are specially trained for such an occurrence. Rated top in the state of Colorado, this team has adopted the Resolve Through Sharing (RTS) bereavement support program. This program specifically addresses perinatal loss. Most importantly they are there to provide an enriching experience while preserving the memory of the baby for hurting, grieving parents, which is what the funds raised will be used for.

John A. Sackett Endowment

The John A. Sackett endowment is named after current Avista Adventist Hospital, CEO John Sackett, whose significant contributions and overall vision for the hospital is largely responsible for Avista’s continuing tradition of excellence in healthcare. The John A. Sackett Endowment will continue that tradition in perpetuity. The Avista Hospital Foundation’s goal is to build this endowment to where it will provide an annual stream of revenue for the Greatest Needs Fund. The Greatest Needs fund has been instrumental in community outreach and wellness programs, new medical equipment and nursing education, as well as several other critical healthcare programs.
